Peter Reinmuth came from Germany to South Africa in 1978, being delegated by a German multi-national company. He enjoyed life in this magnificent country with all its beauty, culture, wildlife, diverse landscapes, the rich flora and fauna as well as the multifaceted historical and cultural background. In 1987 he married a young South African, Vanessa and in 1994 the couple moved back to Germany for business reasons.

In 2000 Peter had taken early retirement and the Reinmuths, together with their 2 children followed their 'AFRICAN DREAMS' and moved to the 'Fairest Cape'.

After many months of very hard work and building construction, the doors to ''Our African Dreams Guesthouse" were opened in December 2004. 'Success followed soon as the first guests stayed with us for 3 months'!!!

Peter and Vanessa are excellent hosts and happily share their extensive knowledge and experience of the country with their guests. Vanessa is a trained 'hobby chef' and this is very much evident in the opulent breakfasts which are prepared with love and creativity.
